Why we keep this
The active spec lives at ../../01-logo-system.md. This archive exists for two reasons:
- Provenance. When someone asks "where did the −0.07em optical-shift rule come from?", we can point at a measured, dated artifact.
- Decision context. The chat transcript and the JSX source show the alternatives that were tried and why each was rejected. Future "should we move to lowercase
[s]?" conversations re-litigate ground covered here.
Do not edit files in this folder. It's an immutable archive. If a value in the active spec changes, update the active spec — not the archive copy.
